Ferns

Ferns are vascular plants so they have xylem and phloem.


Ferns have stems , leaves, and roots.


Ferns donot have either seeds or flowers. They reproduce spores.

Vascular Plants

Vascular plants are those plants that have lignified tissues for conducting water, minerals and photosynthetic products through the plant.


Vascular plants include the ferns, clubmosses,flowering plants, conifers and other gymnosperms

Moss

Mosses are small. They are soft plants that are typically 1-10 cm tall. They commonly grow close
together in clumps or mats in damp or shady locations. They do not have flower or seeds. Their simple leaves cover the thin wiry stems. Mosses produce spore.


Mosses are non-vascular plants. Mosses have a gametophyte.


Mosses may grow on damp soil, tree bark, rocks,concrete, or almost any other reasonably stable surface.

What is fraction ?

Fraction contains two numbers that separet by a line.

Example : 1/2, 3/4

The left number is called numerator.

The right number is called denominator.

1 $ 3 are numerators.

2 $ 4 are denominators.


The numerator representing a number of equal parts.
The denominator telling how many of those parts make up a whole.


How to name fraction ?

Numerators use cardinal numbers.
Denominators use ordinal numbers.

2/3 is named two third.
1/4 is named one fourth.
3/5 is named three fifth.
